Valentine's Giveaway

I've been feeling generous lately, and have decided to offer two free portrait sessions this winter. The economy is rough, but I know many of you would still cherish a beautiful collection of photos to display in your home and to document yourself, your family, your kids, or your pets. For all of the details, check out my new (and still developing) website www.lorikphotography.com. Entries will be accepted until January 31st, 2009 at midnight! Hurry!!

What, you say? You have a new website? YES! I'm excited to announce that I am merging my blog and a new website so that you can go to one easy location (http://www.lorikphotography.com/) to view it all! Check back often, as I will be including my portfolio in the coming weeks.

Blue Scarf

Anyone who has followed this blog in 2008 will recognize this face as my sister's. She works in the spotlight and naturally brings home great new wardrobe pieces full of color and sophistication. This year, she brought an array of colorful scarves with her. I'm not jealous or anything.....

New Years Cheer

Let's face it, New Year's Eve is one of the most optimistic times of the year. It's a time of cheer and excitement as we conceive of ways to make ourselves a better version of who we already are. I am looing forward to a fabulous year in photos, and as I reflect on 2008, I want to thank all of my friends and family who have shared their smiles with me and the world on this blog. I couldn't do this without you! Happy New Year!

Isn't She Lovely?

I love these, but I am a little biased because these these are a few images from the holidays which I spent in Wyoming with my family. Here are a few images of Terry, a.k.a. Mom, and I think we got some really genuine smiles and laughs in between the shivering and shuddering from the cold Wyoming wind. Thanks for braving the cold with me, Mom!

Urban Photoshoot Part II~Brian, Kera, & Eden

A few more to share from our Denver shoot! I hope you enjoy.

Summer Climbing Favorites

Though I like to think of myself as an outdoor adventurer, today I stayed inside the warmth of my house to peruse through some of my favorite climbing images taken this summer. Maybe tomorrow I'll brave the wintery wind and snow.
