New Years Cheer

Let's face it, New Year's Eve is one of the most optimistic times of the year. It's a time of cheer and excitement as we conceive of ways to make ourselves a better version of who we already are. I am looing forward to a fabulous year in photos, and as I reflect on 2008, I want to thank all of my friends and family who have shared their smiles with me and the world on this blog. I couldn't do this without you! Happy New Year!

Isn't She Lovely?

I love these, but I am a little biased because these these are a few images from the holidays which I spent in Wyoming with my family. Here are a few images of Terry, a.k.a. Mom, and I think we got some really genuine smiles and laughs in between the shivering and shuddering from the cold Wyoming wind. Thanks for braving the cold with me, Mom!

Urban Photoshoot Part II~Brian, Kera, & Eden

A few more to share from our Denver shoot! I hope you enjoy.

Summer Climbing Favorites

Though I like to think of myself as an outdoor adventurer, today I stayed inside the warmth of my house to peruse through some of my favorite climbing images taken this summer. Maybe tomorrow I'll brave the wintery wind and snow.

Let me start by saying that this girl can strike a pose! I had so much fun capturing each and every one. I look forward to more of these, Karli!!

Urban Photoshoot~Brian, Kera, and Eden

This weekend, in a rush to get some good pictures before the snow started to fall, I met up with an old (okay, not OLD, or that would mean I was old) classmate of mine and her family. We searched the city streets for perfect spots with lots of character to match their vibrant personalities. We tested Eden's patience and ran into gusts of wind and bursts of tears. In the end, we got some really great pictures, so it was well worth the trek. Thanks to Eden and her amazing parents!

Happy Holidays

Last weekend it was time for me to sit in front of the camera. I set the timer and ran back to sit down with the "boys" for a family portrait. I love some of the backgrounds you can find right here in Denver.
